Hot Start Cable??

My sons hot start cable does not seem like it is working right. If the cable is stuck in the open position, how will this make the bike run? Will it run chopping, and like it is going to foul aplug?? Does this cable go to the carb?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it goes to the carb, and if u run with the cable stuck open it will cause the bike to run lean.
I wouldn't recommend running the bike at all like this, not sure how lean it makes it, but it could do damage I would imagine.

All you have to do is remove the gas tank to access the top of the carb and the screw in plug for the hot start cable.
