Maybe try a product like this:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BGM5MO?smid=AEQTEQOXCITS&tag=nextag-sports-mp-20&linkCode=asn

If you do try and repair it bear in mind that creating a strong, long lasting bond often comes down to your prep work. Take your time, follow the instructions, and please at least clean the area you're working on. ;)

maybe make a little bracket that bends underneath where the hood is going and just bolt it to there.

Make a piece of aluminum, maybe 1 oe 2 inches long
drill a hole on each end and bolt it to that. I had to do that on my old plastics. They broke, so I used some afro-engineering to fix them.:D

im gonna say melt it back, or dont worry bout it.
mine has been busted/gone for 2 years from rear ending my sisters 450r and its been fine.
just make sure your lower bracket stays tight.

I agree with the melting theory. If you have a torch, you can melt it back and its free!

i did the same thing on the other mounting bracket and i just took a small butane soldering torch and slowly melted it back together and its still holding over a year later. just take your time and do small peices at a time letting it cool so you dont burn through the plastic. if your familiar with welding think of it as a series of small tack welds until it is finished. also go slowly because there is no material to fill the area you are melting

melt it back, i always use an old soldering iron to melt it all back together. works very well.

I have to say melt it back also or try some Epoxy or something.

But like they said, or try to find someone who can plastic weld it good for you.

I CUT MINE OFF TOO! JUST DRILL 2 HOLES STRAIGHT DOWN THROUGH THE FENDERS WHERE THE MONTS USED TO BE AND RUN ZIP TIES THROUGH THE HOLES CONNECTING THROUGH THE L-SHAPED BLACK METAL BRACKETS-THEY WILL ACTUALLY FIT LOWER AND TIGHTER LIKE THIS!!!
