what really is the advantage of beadlock rims? i was looking to buy these off ebay, but dont know too much about them.

the advantage is that if the tire blows it will stay on the rim so it doesn't get damaged and so when your chargin' the corners and layin' the sidewalls over they are will not come off the bead.

Before I had beadlocks I would bend rims or the tire would blow off the bead every couple of races. I wouldn't own a quad with out beadlocks now.

It will also allow you to air down your tires to ridiculously low tire pressures and not pop off the bead.
