440ex Stock Carb Jetting

Wondering what needles I should start with for a stock carb.

The stock needle works fine you may want to raise it one clip or shim it .040. Start with a 165 main and a 42 pilot

for a 440ex with a full LRD exhaust!? wont it run kinda lean being i have a 440 kit?

Main jet is in the bottom of your carb. It sits down in the float bowl, but remains screwed into the carb. It is your meter on how much gasoline gets into the carb.

Im not 100% sure on what the pilot jet does...:ermm:

I have that in mine with mods below and it runs fine.
