haha yeah, well i tagged one pretty hard when i had a PEP and it got bent bad enough i couldnt turn the bars enough to get back to the pits to take the thing off. see your used to riding with the slightly more wise riders that dont hit that many trees. Im a 4 stroke mod rider that goes balls out until i hit a tree! LMAO!:blah

I have the "old" PEP steering dampner on my 300ex... Works great... Even after a few crashes! The old one is not rebuildable, and I understand the new ones are rebuildable. The old one has 3 settings, and I think the new ones have a few more than that. I think the new ones are around $140... Not sure though. I would recommend it for both your 300 and your Warrior.:)

Good luck:)

hey i saw you last sunday (November 3rd) at the sand pit. I just looked at the pic of your quad and recognized it. You were riding with a guy with a green frame. I was over by the little sand pit with a couple of craptors and warriors while you and your friend were haulin ***** passing craptors around the little oval hehe. That was you wasn't it? I remembered yor quad because of the carbon fiber hood.

I had the old style PEP on my R. It has 3 adjustment settings via a bolt on the clamp. I blew the damper out at the dunes (high speed rough riding) so I'm out the full price. The new ones are rebuildable so it's cheaper if you hurt one. If you are gonna buy new, I'd go with the denton alloy. It's rebuildable, easier to adjust, and more adjustable, and costs just a little more than a PEP). I'm buying a denton when I get around to getting a new one for mine.
