Its a 1999 Firebird, They dont use leaf springs in performance cars anymore.

Its a torque arm car and has a 10 point cage in it.

I'd love to build a nice car, but I'm more into the offroad aspect right now so looks like the v8 will be in the truck.

Like I stated above, my brother and I were tossing around putting a supercharged 460 in a truck. He already has a 396 stroker wedged in a ranger. It puts down a respectable 440 at the wheels and approx. 550 from motor. Yah, heavy duty trannys and transfer cases suck up lost of power. I'm trying to snag the 396 from him when he pulls it out of his truck.

anyone want to give me a rolling chassis? lol

haha. my teacher has a 94 lumina that he drag races, it has a 705 big block i believe, it makes like 1200 all motor alone, and i makes 2000 on spray. haha,

yah haha I was gonna say it's got to be a pretty big shot. My buddy is pushing 800 in his 98 cobra with no spray, just supercharger.

I'm still talking my brother into either supercharging the 396 he has, building up a 351 to a 408 stroker with a blower, or supercharging the 460 he has. Reguardless, he'd be looking at 800 hp without a problem on either one of those engines. Looks like it's time to ditch the ZF and build up a badass C6.

haha, im not arguing with ya, your car is very impressive, my teacher hauls it there, but i have seen a street viper pull about 1700hp, and it was decently fast, but it spun pretty good,

yeah well if its not a 60's or 70's muscle car i really could care less about it. im old school when it comes to rwd v8 stuff.

I kind of figured you were gonna say the nitrous was staged. but damn 200 the first hit? I never really played around with nitrous to much. id rather turbo or supercharge something first myself.

There was a viper here at the mopar nats one time that was supercharged with nitrous on top of that. car was unreal. had dual 4 inch exhaust i think. ran a high 9 and was loud to say the least. lol

Cracked the oil pan but it wasnt bad.

Last time it did a big wheelie I drug the bumper for 40' or so and when it came down it smashed the headers, broke the oil pan bad and cracked the trans. case :eek2: :(

Wheelie bars are for race cars and the chute is mandatory at 150 mph. :cool:

No, its pretty much a street car that I take to the track sometimes and try to blow up with too much Nitrous! :D
