Since I can not get my king quad a arms Powder Coated (non removible call joints) I need to paint them.
I was just going to use a rattle can but that starts to look liker crap after a few touch up jobs.
Just wondered what everyone else uses?
I was thinking of using this they use on truck frames, its almost like truck sprey in bed liner.

POR-15 would work well but i think it only comes in black. Also tractor paint is very durable and it comes in a few more colors. You can usually get it at any tractor supply store or even some hardware stores.

Good color choice. You should be able to find the por-15 at most decent auto parts shops. I think it is the frame paint you were referring to...
I actually thought about trying the duplicolor spray on bedliner on the a arms on our 250ex. I have it on my 300's AC bumper and so far it is holding up great. I think it looks decent too. POR-15 is probably a better choice though.

Base coat clear. Spary from an HVLP. Go to a body shop supplies store and tell them what your doing.

I use truck bed liner out of a spray bomb, They chip a little bit but after touch up cant even tell with the texture. It looks awesome and i have my a-arms, nerfs, and grab bar. When i see you at a IXCR race i'll show it to ya. :D

They're only expensive if you want them to be.. You can buy them from 30 to probably a grand or so lol, but you get what you pay for. Ours was around 150 I think but we need a decent one because we paint alot of equipment on the farm.

Yeah you don't need an expensive spray gun to put the por 15 on. Any HVLP gun will do. I got a couple for free from a friend that work fine. They are the cheap industrial type guns that are only around $30 from harbor freight.
