I broke my stocker today and I need to order a new chain, RMATV has the DID x ring in stock but not the "ATV" version.. is there a diff?? should i get the atv version???

D.I.D x ring chain is a great chain...even if it's not the atv.

The did ATV X ring is awesome. They use a different steel alloy in it. Im guessing becuase theres more drag and pressure from a quad becuase its spinning two tires and the axle .
You'll be find with the regular x ring if you cant get the atv though.

well i ended up getting RK gold x ring, it was cheaper and they had it in stock

RK x-ring is a good choice. The x-ring is better lubrication. You'll be fine.

dont mean to hijack your thread MX450 but anyway... what is the difference between an O ring and an X ring chain?

If you were to see a cut cross section of an X ring and an O ring, the profile of the x-ring holds more grease to the metal sideplate for better lubrication.
