When I put my 440 kit in I noticed that you are supposed to put an O ring around the new cylinder sleeve and it fits between the sleeve and the cylinder....I may have forgot to put this in will this affect anything?

SERIOUSLY THOUGH...ITS SEALING SOMETHING. MAYBE IT KEEPS WATER FROM SLIPPING INTO YOUR CRANKCASE AT THE JOINT. AND WE ALL KNOW WATER CARRIES DIRT. JUST A GUESS.

did you find one on the sleeve when you pulled it apart??

No I didn't, there wasn't even one included in the complete gasket set I purchased:confused:

Stop riding and call the company that you purchased the kit from immediately. They'd know what the O-ring is for best.

There wasnt one on mine when I tore it down either. Maybe a mistake from Honda, either on the machine or in the manual.
