Figures the one and only game i bought my PS3 for comes out finally, and my PS3 takes a dump on me. The disc reader stopped working. They sent me a return box yesterday and it left yesterday next day air back to them, hopefully Sony's turn around time isnt that bad.

-no endurocross

-no where to buy new atvs or upgrade them

-didnt see any real quads

i have it for the 360...and honestly, if my copy still worked...I would be playing unleashed for the ps2 right now over this pile of garbage.

I cant remember the last time someone racing against me in the pro am class just stopped in the middle of the track for no reason, and starts going again...oh, thats because it hasnt happened until I played this game.

the scrub/whip feature, what a joke...its faster and easier to just hit the breaks and lean in the air to whip it out.

not to mention not being able to lean back and skim across the whoops....

In my opinion, rainbow dropped the ball BIG time on this game.

ok IMHO the game is sick for the ps2 yes it doesnt have all the fanacy stuff like the 360/ps3 have but it still beats out unleashed also if you guys havent tried pro race physics yet be careful in the corners is all i can say the physics period are superior to unleashed

the quickest way to get a ton of store points is to do the ski jump a few times you can easily get about 500000 points per go around

not having a helmet came sux and only having 4 quads sux and no parts upgrades sux other than that the game is killer

not to mention it has a killer soundtrack to compliment it

Well after talking to sony again about my warranty turnaround time on the ps3 i sent back being at least a couple weeks out, i decided to go out and just buy another PS3 for the time being(if anyone is looking for one in a few weeks ill have one for sale:D

I also picked up my copy of untamed today for the ps3, all i have to say is WOW, i love it! The 360 version must be night and day to the ps3 version. Ive had others over tonight also and everyone else agrees with me on it, the game is a blast! From all the quads, bikes, pro riders, parts, gear, you name it! I also like the gameplay alot. I consider Unleashed more arcade style than untamed.

I think thats the biggest gripe im hearing is coming from, everyone along with myself is used to the old unleashed physics. You know how you could over shoot a jump big time and save it, blitz whoops any which way, etc..... well with untamed, your gonna bite it if you overshoot hard or case hard, and make sure you have a good line in the whoops and stay straight, if not, your going for a ride!

Again, it takes a little time to get used to, but the PS3 version gets a top notch score from me!

Play the game for more than 5 minutes....and if you still think it sucks...you have issues. You know that you can adjust your suspension to skim across woops. There is also pro physics that make the game more enjoyable, just like the last.

To be competely honest, I am suprised there isnt a "kick" feature in the game to kick an oppenent, just like in quad power racing 2...because it sure does have the feel to it.

I never really liked unleashed for playstation 2. I just havent found a game that had the same gameplay as atv fury 2 yet. I want to see real quads with real upgrades. A game more like Gran Teriso with money and upgrading parts and quads. Why not a game like that??

I purchased Untamed for the PS2 last night and I have to admit, it was a let down. If you have a PS2, I would suggest waiting for the price to drop, pick up a used copy or buy the PS3 or 360. I hope they spent more time developing the game for the PS3/360. I was a big fan of the Unleashed game and feel Untamed is not as good. The choice of bikes/quads in Unleashed were definitely more realistic. The quad options were like the Raven or something like that. I raced some of the Pro bikes and quads races and some of the pro's were riding 2 strokes. Not that there is anything wrong with that, except for no Pro rides a 2 stroke anymore. When jumping, there was a floating feeling and the quads are definitely twitchy. They need a precision stabilizer. Ha!Ha! The soundtracks were good and I did like being able to ride different tracks. Especially after wearing out the Unleashed game. I wish I could take the tracks from the Untamed game and put them in the Unleashed game. Anyway, those are my thoughts on the PS2 version.

I got the PS3 game yesterday and played it after lifting last nite. All I can say is its a huge step up from Unleashed. At first the controls were hard to get used to, but them I went into preferences and changed them back to the original settings and its was gravy from there.

I've only got about 30 mins into the game, I'll prolly play for when I have time this weekend.. ~Jay

I just started with the online racing, wow, this is addicting, lol. my screen name on there is also jrspawn. I set some record times on some of the tracks tonight, but im sure they will end up getting demolished by others.

Anyone know how the invite and online racing really works with the PS3? Ive just been creating a whole new race just to see what other races were available them join them, if that makes sense?

The game does feel weird at first, but i think its better. I havnt played the PS3/Xbox360 version, but i will say that if your getting it to ride the quads, the PS2 version is a joke... it says it has 4 quads, but really is the same to with either a 4 stroke or two stroke, plus they dont have many upgrades... if any...

There is only 2 quads, and you can change the "pattern". Its so cheesy.
There is nothing you can customize exept the color and pattern.

Unleashed blows this game out of the water.

OKAY heres your answer guys.. i have played the ps2 version... and as i had expected and researched it was designed by a completly different company each game for each different system is different and unique in its own way.. the ps2 version was designed by a company who ussually designs car games.. the ps3 and 360 versions were designed by thq and they are on a whole nother level compared to the ps2 version.. dont expect much from the ps2 version but the game play is suprisingly good and handling is great for the ps2 version

I bought the ps2 version yesterday, I don't like it. Bikes don't seam to handle right, there isn't a handlebar/rider veiw, infact all the views don't seam right. I like mx vx atv unleashed alot better. Atv fury 2 is still my favorite game of that type.

I've been playin this game now for over 5 hours a day since last thursday heres my outtake on it... i have a good 30 hours playing this game

THE SOUND OF THE BIKES SUCKS!!!!! it makes me wanna kill someone its so damn annoying! haha


next is the game flat out sucks if you don't have the bikes set up right... go into to the bike set up and turn on pro physics... then reset the settings below to default ( they all will be to the left such as full acceleration, soft suspension, etc move them to the center)... after that move everything 2 or 3 clicks towards the left... your gonna have to mess around with this because everyone is differnt in their style...


when i was using the factory settings i was getting killed by over 20 seconds a race... now i've never lost one...

next is you gotta scrub everything and never preload... i clutch everything into a turn and never touch a brake... its all about momentum in this game...


This is much better then untamed once you learn how to play it... the tracks are better with more rhythm and everything... its just very hard to get use to and takes a long time to get used to it...

I think this game would be amazing if you could handle the bikes on whoops and if you could keep going when you overshoot a jump. Another thing i hate is you cant steer the quads on tight tracks. I quit playing it for call of duty 4 because it makes me too mad because no matter what I wreck.
