I was wondering if you can do gun coatings and what kinds of coatings are available? I have a 17 hmr bolt action that needs some help and possibly a remington 1100 shotgun

Thanks

I can molycoat the action and barrel, but you cant ship a reciever unless it is sent through a FFL dealer

Would the finish stay or would it fade out I know the metal will always be protected from the moly correct? The color is just their to help you see it go on is the way I understood moly. I did a search and found your Remy shotgun that you posted did you do the the reciever or just the bolt?

On the shipping thing is it ok if a person sends a gun back to the manufacturer with out using a FFL? I have done this a couple times now one with ups and the other with fed ex. Just curious
Thanks again

I did the reciever on my 11-87 and several of my handguns...no wear is visable on any of them.

The firearms manufacture is a FFL holder, but the law gets pretty strict when private citizens start shipping this stuff. I dont see a problem with it as long as its 100% disassembled.

bolt rifle (ACTION AND BARREL) $85

shotgun action $ 45

I will be doing a muzzleloader barrel in the next few days and I will post a before and after pic for you

no, just a flat black

i would suggest checking at gander mountain or online to see fi you can have the hyrdo graphics done. i know gander offers this service as do other gun smith/finishing places and they offer the camo designs (just like you see on many of the newer guns)
