Rear Carrier

My friend has an 05' 400EX. We need to replace the rear bearing Carrier. We already have the part, but we can't quite figure out how to get the axle out. I've done this before on my old 250, but I just don't remember, seeing they are all basically the same. How do we get the rear disk off?

loosen the axle nut. Then there is a c-clip that has to be removed. after that the disk should slide right off.
