Can someone tell me what happened here?

Ive been having a hard time starting my 4 wheeler in the winter. And this time it just doesnt want to start. I first thought it was the low battery and spark plug, but when I looked at the engine I saw this, something I have never seen before.

Did I blow a head gasket or something? Please help, thanks

get some gt thunder hd studs installed, wont happen again

also, buy a MLS gasket. much better than the other nylon or whatever style they are
