getting a ltr450, it's an 07, so i figure it's safe to say i'll need the shocks resprung and revalved. i'm 220lb and going to start racing. being stock overall is fine for now, but i would like a smoother ride for my body's sake! who services the shocks the best for novice racing.
i know tcs just started doing zps rebuilds...i was think of using them. anyone else to check out. it's going to be about $800 give or take with TCS.

The best advice I can give you is to pick up the phone and call Derisi, C&D Racing (Colby) and GT Thunder. Ask them about what they do, tell them what you expect and chose the company with which you feel fits best to your idea of how you want your suspension. All 3 of those guys do good work, you could flip a coin and be happy

Moto-Xperts Toby can get your shocks dialed in almost if not as well as some aftermarket for a fair price.

I'd go with one of the three pappy suggested. I have all C&D rebuilds with a GT Thunder rear linkage, love the setup.

Yes, I'd give him a call. Toby is doing great things and starting to turn heads and make a name for himself. He is so meticulous that he will have your shocks as good if not better than the others mentioned. Tell him Tyler Sederlund sent you and you need a hookup on your shocks!

I have stock stuff on my 07 R & weigh 220. I working on lowering that # , Cobly @ C&D said $700 to my three shocks & shipping for me in Jersey was 20-38 bucks. I ride BPG & trial ride so the rebuilding of the stockers are my best choice. Are you staying w/ stock a arms?

$590 for all 3 shocks is an awesome deal!

I had Toby service my axis shocks recently and they are feeling amazing. I couldn't believe the difference it made when I got out on the track. He does good work. He even gave me a complete set of graphics for free when he rebuilt my engine.

That price doesn't include dual rate springs for the rear or a linkage. I would call and see what the real price will be, I bet you'll be surprised to find its just about the same as the other guys.
