Which Pipe for a 400??

i need help figuring out which pipe i want, so il depend of you people to make a decision for me

Curtis Sparks, do it right the first time. I have one on my 400ex, and it is the best exhuast i have ever owned.

Out of those choices I would say the X-6 is going to be your best bet. That is if money is not an issue.

The x-6 is for build motors x-4 for stock

also, i saw that LRD with the black silencer and i thing those are pretty trick looking.

but of the ones you have listed, i say sparks....it's an awsome pipe.

my friends say the Yoshimura is the way to go, next to Big Gun, are they rite, or just go with the X-6??

Sparks Racing has come up with some big stuff for your 400EX and so we had to make an exhaust for those motors. The new X-6 is awesome for the big bores and highly modified motors. We have found that the X-6 even works great on a stock motor. Basically the difference between an X-4 and X-6 on a stock motor is that the X-4 has slightly better bottom end. The X-6 has slightly better top end. The X-6 is still the best exhaust available for high performance 400X.

I'm not impressed with big gun exhaust...i've ridden with a few people that have them and i didn't think they were a very good exhaust performance wise.

one problem.... i live i the wide open country where even a rev can be heard for a mile.... well its not THAT bad but u get the point, ne wayz.... is that pipe loud, if it is, is there anyway to reduce sound with out reducing hp gain?

FYI... Both the Curtis Sparks and the Yoshimura RS-3 are loud.:(

Note: The RS-3 system has optional "baffles" you can put in the end. The small baffle will be the quietest (not quieter than stock though), but most likely will not perform better than your stock exhaust, and then the larger baffle will add more performance, but also with a louder bark.:( Then there is the option of no baffle... Even more performance, with a loud bark.

Personallt there is no way to compare and even put in the same catagory a T4 or White Brothers with a Sparks x-6 or even an X-4.

If you are gonna get a Sparks Pipe you might as weel get the X-6 and then when you getyour motor done then you will have teh better pipe rather then buyign a good pipe then when ya get your engine done have a worse pipe then you coulda had.

Did ya get that it sorta came out wierd.

Best exhaust for mx is definitely the TC supertrapp. Other than that the best is going to be X-6 sparks. I work at a race shop (EastCoast ATV) that is what we use on all our bikes and the main exhaust we sell and suggest for a 400ex. We have them in stock. $475 for complete system. what do u guys think of the Big Gun system... the companies mag says it will give 7hp..... what do u think?

7hp my but...i've seen a ton of dyno charts tht show it barley making more than stock.

I am not a fan of big gun at all.

White brothers now has a race exhaust! i wonder how that is.

My friend put the Pro Circuit T-4 on his 400 and it made a big difference! Especially in torque, but I don't know anyone w/ the others except foe WB and the T-4 seemed to do better, on the track at least. Just my $.02!

lets compare and contrast..... how much more will i get with the sparcks rather than the yoshimura..... noise difference.....torque increase....and top speed increase??
