haha man gosh, reminds me of a time we had about a dozen 4x4's stuck. most of them were Z71's including mine and a couple fords. ended with a 18 wheeler tow truck having to get some of us out.

those tires don't look like they would be very good in the mud..they look more like something u would use in a rocky terrian

I hope that superduty isnt turbo diesel than i would understand it getting stuck trying to get you out. Id say both of your next mods need to be some superchargers to turn those tires so youll never get stuck again.

Re-Gearing will be MORE than Sufficient to turn the tires Efficiently...Just gotta get the dough

Nice pics and trucks. I just got back from offroading before too. I cant call it muddin, becuase it was all snow lol

Yeah, This was in one of my buddies front yard, and we were gonna get the tractor out and rake out the Ruts...but unfortunately ;) the ground froze later that night! Now were gettin hit with this storm and theres about 3 inches of snow on the ground, 10" by morning

Wheeling isn't about "Power to turn the tires" its more like equipment like his trucks and knowing your limits and Knowledge, knowing how deep the mud is, if you'll sink and float, and how to get threw it.

The F-150 looked like it might have been high centered on the pumpkin in which case 6,000 hp won't get you out. Get good wheelin tires and make sure you know wut your going into, LoL.

Nice wheelin brah, good luck next time

Clearly a supercharger is beneficial for that Powerstroke...or a Diesel engine in a pick up for that matter:rolleyes:

Why would a supercharger be better for a diesel engine then a/some turbo/s?

Nice trucks you have there:cool:

It's a gas motor in that truck. No diesel there. Nice looking trucks though! Good to see they get used too.

yeah i never quite understand why people lift trucks and put on big tires but never re gear the rears. It should be done at the same time or as soon as possible. all your really doing is over working the trans when your trying to get out of deep ruts.

And ive watched 2wd trucks on 38's get out of holes that just about bury the tires due to the fact of the gearing in the rear and enough power under the hood.

Even better sometimes than a blower is good ol nitrous. If your starting to get stuck just push the button for an instant hp increase.

Like they said above, it's not all about power to get you out. My '93 Chevy 4X4 can go through more of just about anything with its old tired (VERY tired) v6 that my buddy can in his 2002 Chevy with a 5.3L V8. You gotta have ground clearance, tires, gears, and possibly more important than any of that is the knowledge, or driving skills, and knowing how to hit mud or get out, and knowing when not to hit it.

Yup^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

And if you "Floor" it to use your "Power" to get out of the hole to get unstuck, you'll spin and if you've ever been wheelin or even on snow you know that spinning is bad, you will dig a whole, then high centered, and if you dig a hole then you won't get out.

Creep crawl out, LoL, obvioulsy its not bad to spin a little bit but I'm saying you don't want to dig a hole, go out in the snow this winter, from a stop, floor it and you will spin and barely move, then try it again but only go half throttle and you'll go faster. I should write a book, ahaha

How do those nitto's do offroad? They don't look very aggressive.

Ugh, I hate getting stuck. It's such a pain in the balls haha.

I'm a GM guy and am really getting into Dodge trucks especially Cummins:D I never have liked Ford and prolly never will! JMO that's all my experiences haven't been good with them and that's just my experience. It all depends on how good of care you take of them.;)

haha I just can't stand how people are all anti every company. I love the cummin's dodges, but I'm not a fan of the duramax's. I like pretty much all trucks. I hate how people single out one company, and half of the people that do it probably aren't even old enough to drive nor own a car.

I have my permit and I've driven all of my bosses Ford's (F550, F350) for a year and a half and he has had a few problems but nothing too major. Because he simply takes care of them. His old '86 Chevy dump truck is a tank. It'll push snow better than any of the trucks we have and contract out. He's taken great care of it since new, but last year broke a few things simply because it's old. I don't hate FORD, but I won't buy one when I get a vehicle. JMO. Everyone has one, but sometimes that opinion needs to stay to ones self.

likewise, I know a guy with a 1980's ford f350 dump truck, that thing has taken so much sh*t. He's rolled it 7 times, plowed snow with it for the last 15 years, and used it for construction. Then again, I've seen new fords take a crap right off the showroom floor.

I think that the older trucks were built better than the new. Kind of like the old fourwheelers we have that are still running today. I know my freinds family has a 1975 Chevy dump truck that they beat the living heck out of. It is their firewood truck and they take that back through the woods like a fourwheeler. If there are trees in their way, they plow them over if they are small enough. It is run on straight manifolds, 6 bald tires, and it starts every time. I don't know if Ill see a 2007 Chevy last that long.
