we took the cd player/radio off and the wires connected to it match the wire colors on the subwoofer. Is this the right place to connect it ? The only speakers are door speakers so i dont really wanna connect it to that (if thats where they go). Actually, all of the wires are the same color except we have a purple wire with a black stripe on the sub, and there isnt any like that coming from the car. Anyone got some help?

you need an amp, power and ground wires, an rca, fuse for the power wire, and a line out converter (loc) if you dont have an after market headunit.also a box for the sub. If you dont know what your doing just take it to a shop.
