I was gonna go see it (or make an attempt, if my gf would allow me to actually watch a movie:devil: )

But instead, thanks to the two systems converging on top of me, I now have to stay home and make sure nothing gets torn up or blown away in a storm.:grr:

i just did get back from seeing it. not what i expected from teh previews, but a good movie. however, the ending is absolutely horrible. the movie is great but the ending to is just really really sucked

agreed, the movie was amazing, but the ending just didn't cut it for me. And I can't believe it's a first for will smith for those of you, who know what i mean. :eek2:

And Will Smith is still the biggest playa on this earth haha, he always gets a bangin chick to team up with in a movie.

my bro worked on I Am legend for a year. He made a lot of money and it was his longest stunt job as of yet.

i havent seen the movie i was in north carolina, i am seeing it friday night, but he texted me and told me what part he was in.

he told me he was the head monster if that makes any sense (in the trailor he is the monster that like spooks out on the side of will smiths face at the very very end)

my bro did the following:
he jumps on the hood of will's car and smashes the windshield with his head and climbs into the car and they fight a bit. he hits a pole and he goes flying.

and at the end of the movie there is a BIG fight scene and my bro comes in from a steel window ripped open and tackles will and continues to fight him throughout the whole house

i havent seen it yet so im not sure what exactly hes talkin about but he said he saw it before it came out and its pretty badass.

im lookin forward to seein it

wow man thats awesome. i seen the movie know exactly what he is talkin about. ask him how they hell they made that **** look like there was no one else alive with all the grass and ****. bridges blown out. obviously its editing but its just CRAZY . it looks sooo good..

yeah ive been on the set of a few things hes been on. i mean i wish i could take pictures for you guys but its highly confidential. its all computer generated. a lot of the stunts my bro did were 'were stunts' where they hook up a wire to you and it throws you around everywhere. my bro had a 3rd degree seperated shoulder from the stunts. thats pretty bad...

once i get my laptop running ill post up a pic i have of him in the clay ***** they put all over him like mold. its pretty cool

The ending ruined the whole movie for me. My whole family left feeling disappointed and let down. A lot of hipe for an average movie. I should have waited to rent it.

i think there will be a sequel, the ending was typical of a movie that will have a sequel, it just kind of leaves you there wondering what the heck happens now. i thought it was way better than an average movie, i have to admit there where several questions left unanswered at the end which kind of sucked, but they are trying to keep you hanging so you go see number 2.

Agreed, great movie but the ending could of been way better.

And I loved how the zombies launched them selves head first into his car like torpedo's. Moved a car with their head, lol.

'I Am Legend' is a remake of an early seventies flick called 'Omega Man', starring Charleton Heston. It was a great movie.

i just got back from seeing it myself and while i think it was a great movie it was hyped up too much. the ending wasn't bad just one of those that leave you hanging and i kinda expected that.

it was more of a leave me bored ending for me...

It seems like when it came to the climax and ending the writer got really lazy and just wanted to finish her up...

Two words: missed opportunity.

Once again, Hollywood screws up a sure thing. The book "I AM LEGEND" is awesome. The theme and ending are what makes it such a great story. It was written in 1954 and is the inspiration for the modern day Zombie/end of the world/28 Days later type movies.

If you've seen the movie, maybe you caught on that the last 1/4 had a different feel to it. There were reshoots before the film was completed and word is, they changed some things because the big Hollywood executives wanted a happier ending. That means they messed with the story and in the end, destroyed what would have been an absolutely great film. I rate the first 3/4 of the film as a 9 out of 10 even with the terrible CGI monsters. The ending ruined it all. The entire message of the story is lost.:mad:

well i saw it. it was definitely good and i enjoyed it but i think it couldve been longer? idk, seemed to end fast! kept me at the edge of my seat. it was a bit strange however. and i liked the ending. i think that some parts were a bit confusing

and for whoever said there will be a 2nd one, how could there be? to prove what...lol.

I read the book before I saw the movie and I was so dissapointed. The movie is so different from the book. The book is MUCH MUCH better then the movie.

My main problem with the movie was they lost the reason why the book was called "I am Legend". The book has a reason why he is a Legend but the movie never connects with the title.
If you like the movie you will be blown away by the book. It is a short story (170 pgs) but it has more in it then the movie did. My other complaint with the movie is that the special effects sucked. I thought I went to see I am robot 2. My last and final complaint is I wanted to see Cortman calling out NEVILLE....
