got my 15t and need to change em, all i see is the big nut holding it on with a big gold washer looking thing behind it, so which way do i even turn it (ive turned it both ways in 1st gear, reverse, and holding the brakes and its just stuck either way), does the gold thing really do anything? thanks for any info

First you need to bend back the washer from the one side of the nut. It prevents the nut from turning.
Next you need to turn the nut counter clockwise when looking at it. I had to use an electric impact gun to get mine off.
I suggest you make sure it is in neutral when doing this.
My new renthal sprocket was thicker than the stock one so I could not reuse the retaining washer when I installed it. Look at the thickness of you new one to see if it is the same or not.
