i just want to get it right the first time i dont want to have to pay $150 for the shop to do it. i just recieved my yosh full exhaust and dynojet kit. the kit says to use a 170 main with the airbox lid removed with ill take off and run like that if it helps. but it dosn't say anything about a piolet jet at all. and all the threads ive read on here every one talks about the pilot jet. and i do have a little trouble starting and staying running at first when its cold. so if ive read correctly if i go to the shop and get a 42 jet and change the piolt to a 42 and main to a 170 would i be ok. and i do have a k&n filter.

thanks very much i know there are a thousand of these but please help.

well now theres 1003 lol. anyway, yes step up to a 42 pilot jet. that'll help your cold starting blues. also, is this for a full system? a 170 seems awfully high for just a slip on, and even a little high for a full system. i would try a 160-165 if its a full.

i put in a 170 main and a 42 pilot and tried to take the choke plate out but the screw stripped out removed the air box lid and it runs like a raped ape. so i guess i am closs enough on the jetting. thanks everyone
