used cylinder says its a vito's

I am thinking of buying a used cylinder and the guy says it is a vito's 240 big bore.
is there a way of telling if it is or not?other than micing out the bore are there any identifing marks or a differance in the ports?

Is the head any differant too?

The vitos cylinder head has a 12 port design, so compare it to the stock port to see it its a ported head. If it is then most likely hes not lying about the vitos. After that if you can its best to make sure by measureing the bore.
