View Full Version : Mounting Rear Fenders...

Anyone ever mount your rear fenders so just the seat can be removed. Then built some brackets to make the rear fenders not so floppy?

I was thinking of trying this but thought I would ask to see if anyone else has done it or get some input or ideas from you guys first.

Also, anyone trim their rear fenders (the area above the heel guards? pics please

I fabricated rear brackets for my ex. It takes some time and welder but can be done I'll try to post a couple pics later for you.

that would be great. I have easy access to welders and steal/aluminum to build them.

How do they hold up?

i have a bracket on my 03 400ex
it goes from onne fender across the brackets to the other fender
you can go muddin all day and not have to clean off the fenders they dont sag at all worth the money i got mine off ebay

do you have a pic of these? I don't mind if they sag. I just don't like them flopping all over the place since i ride mainly mx.

x2 on the flopping. i slao race mx and i have grey plastic so i call em my elephant ears :p doesnt bother me tho.
