Why can you run 04/05 spindles and hubs on a 06 but you cant run the 06 arms on a 04/05 ? is it the angle that the spindle bolts to the arms that is different just curious.

The people that run 04/05 spindles/hubs on 06 bikes are also using 04/05 A-Arms. Or using A-Arms that are caster/camber adjust and will work with any year spindle.

You can run any year spindle/hub and any year bike as long as you match the year on the arms to the spindles.
Because the frame mounts on all the years are the same.

So i have a 06 that i just put Houser Slicast L/t on is there any benefit using 04/05 spindles or can i make the caster on that upper arm comparable to the 04/05 spindle.

I'm not sure why the older spindles handle better. I'd imagine most of it is caster, but there might be some other reasons.

I'm sure someone else could answer this.

I run 05 spindles/hubs on 06 A-arms.
it handles great for xc.

I've heard of people just changing the upper A arm.
from 06 to 05.

Wrong!

Depends on the manufacturer.

He was asking for stock a-arms.
At least I thought he was because he didn't mention any other brand.

I am 99% sure you can use hubs and spindles from 04/05 on 06 arms, the difference between the two is how far the spindle fits into the hub.

I have had both and ran 04/05 on my 06 bike.

You can run the 04/05 spindles on the 06 amrs, there will be more camber at the top (the tires will lean in).

So as i stated before i have Houser Slicast L/T is there any benefit to me running 04/05 hubs and spindles or can i make those arms with the camber and caster adjustment work just as good?

the only thing i can think of to do that is i have heard you get better handling with the 04/05's. It is just personal pref. I have an 05 so I can't really help ya. Oh yeah and if im not mistaken there has been problems with the 06's which is another reason for them to be swtiched.

we switch to 04/05 spindles to get rid of the push in corners.
you match the hubs to the year spindle. that you are using.

well if you do switch to 04/05 spindels i will be selling my front wheel hubs, 05 but they will prolly need new bearings.

yea its just right ya know or i like it!! like you said for stock ha!! i thought about fixing it but i guess i'll just leave it!! i always thought neg camber was a good thing!! look at it like this, when the suspsion is compressed that whole tire is on the ground getting traction so.... but when i first done this i was like dang whats up with the camber took me forever to figure it out!!!

trx450racer how you like them fox shox man?? nice right?? what about the rear?? i'd kinda like to have one to match up with my fronts!!

I am really impressed with the whole setup, money well spent in my opinion.
