Is there any difference from the stock 05 to the stock 08 steering stems??

04 through 08 are all the same. I just put an 05 on my 07. :)

im mounting what i believe to be a 06-07 stem on a 08 and it doesnt seem to drop all the way down. the steering stem stops only line up with half of the frame tab stops. according to my tape measure the 08 stem stops are lower by 1/2" have you noticed this problem?
