LA Dunes

looks good where are these dunes at,

Forest Hill, Louisiana. On I-49, appox. 20 miles south of Alexandria.

i go to ls in ok quite often its a 7 hr drive the la dunes wouldn't be much futher,how much ridin area is there and howbig are the dunes may want to try them out

You could explore all of it in one day. But its still fun enough for a whole weekend. There is a small creek that runs right at the entrance that is pretty shallow (you can follow it and splash around on warm days). There are also two small lakes on the property that you can swim in (also, would omly suggest doing this on warm day becasue the lakes and creek are fed from undergound springs, and the water is frickin cold!). They show a small preview of the creek and stuff at this place in Houveous II or III, I dont remember which.
