Pappy I put a parts list in one of the 2 boxes that are coming USPS. You should probably see them tuesday. The Frame & Sub I shipping tuesday Fed Ex.

Frame & Subframe: Yellow like the YFZ I posted in that last post
Upper & Lower A-Arms: Shimmering Candy Blue Trans
Front & Rear Hubs: Shimmering Candy Blue Trans
2 Upper Take Up Shock Springs: Gloss White
Main Shock Spring: Candy Blue Trans

The Frame will need checked for cracks and fixed as needed. And the Subframe I know is cracked in at least 2 places and will need fixed.

And yes I do what that main shock spring in just regular Candy Blue Trans since it is for my wifes 250EX that you did the hubs for in that color so it all matches. The Arms & Hubs are for my LTR so I want the metallic in them.

its so hard to say with a deffinate day, i have frames that i recieved yesterday already stripped due to me being the first in line to get the one stripping company rolling this morning so some will be much faster turn around then others:p i am working through the holiday so keep an eye for pics (although i will probably just strip your small parts and wait on the frame as i am waiting on shimmering candy blue to arrive)

OK sounds good. I kinda figured it would be after the first of the year before I would see it back to me. As always perfection takes time.

This year I will be pressed a little more for time than my stepsons build last year since I am going to try to race the AWRCS series. And trying to get used to a new bike on top of building it ought to be fun.

no problem, i will work through it all as fast i can. (i honestly dont delay anything unless there is a reason for it)

like tonight..i had a prizmatic frame to do, then a black with silver flake, so the second frame was done ahead of a few others simply because of the colors i was shooting. now i will move on to stealth and or more gloss black worj etc before moving to lighter colors that will require some downtime to clean the powder room, change filters etc.

Also Do you have any powder that is close to the Motowoz Shocks Blue on their springs. I will need a rear spring done when I get my shock back from Laz.

Thanks for the uodate. That frame looked like it went through a war since I tried to knock off most of the weld splatter. Man was it bad.

Thanks Dave. Pappy as long as the color is close to that color on the springs. Its not like you see much of the rear shock anyway. I think a navy blue might work.

well, i looked at the first color post and you have the main springs candy blue (id say shimmering and you may have meant that) the rear spring color you have going a different color (why worry about motowaz..this is custom ****...why not be custom..lol)

as far as the swing arm...IMO the square tunbe units never look as good in a candy color as a round or oval design(mainly because powder just goes wild when used on that shape of part) a silver metalic type of coating would be a third color, but its a neutral so IMO it would be fine

Those shock springs you have are for my wife's 250EX so it should be regular candy blue not shimmering. All the shimmering parts are for my LTR

The Motowoz shocks I have are like brand new so the spring I send you next week is for my rear that Laz has right now. But we will worry about the color when I get it to you. Who knows I may do all the springs on my Motowoz and my revalved rear once I see the frame, arms, & hubs

And the swingarm, just do it in a close to stock color...maybe a color like Dave400EX did on his 450R frame.

nope, the r is going to be pink and black..

haven't even thought of colors yet...you know me...i have to be different...i started out black and red, then honda comes out with the red framed 450r...and then i was leaning towards blue and black, but guess what honda does...

i did the 400ex with white plastics because you never seen any like that...now white hondas are all over the place...although purple is a thought that has crossed my mind...you know how i am with purple...i tried doing a purple and red 300ex years ago...man was that ugly...

oh i know exactly what you mean. my brother says every year he doesnt need to tear down his quad, but by the time he takes it all apart to replace bearings and get the shocks serviced, he ends up here to strip parts and recoat:p

on alot of the special colors, they only produce so much(powder does have a shelf life) usually its not a big deal, a few days delay etc, but i geuss being around the holidays has things a bit more backed up. if i had some metal flake i would mix it myself, but i know we arent in that big of a time crunch so we should be ok.

Thanks Corey....the cases are split and found the motor problem.....the infamous seizing of 5th gear. So a new shaft and gear will be ordered this week and probably sent to ATP for their Tranny service.

We will most likely be at my parents house on that weekend....we have a 2.5 mile loop right now and I hope to add another 1.5 miles to it before March 1st....its a good little practice track.....I don't know of anyone with room in a trailer...I will be taking myself just in my truck since then I don't have to depend upon anyone else for the first few races.....I know the first race is at mountaineer again.
