I have an 07 450R that is all stock internally and it needs more. On all my quads in the past i always just done stock bore higher compression builds but after a few good buddys started buying athena kits it seems like their the way to go. My main question is all my buddys went with the 480 and i always like to go a little more haha so how reliable is the 510 athena kit? ive had quads before that seemed like after i done alot of modding i was always ordering parts on monday spending all night friday workin on it just so i could race it saturday and i dont wanna go back to that thats why this one has been stock for this long. so would you guys recommend the 510 or an i better to stay below the 500 mark??

Before you do that, I would send your head out to a respectable builder (DRG - chad502ex). It amazing how much power is locked up in the stock head.

Ditto, except i'm going to send my whole engine or my whole quad to Chad (DRG) when i'm ready.
