Slight oil leak from shifter, info plz

I got a 2002 raptor 660 an it is leaking oil from where the shift linkage goes in to the transmission. has this ever happend to someone, or does anybody know if there is a seal around there. it could be coming from the output shaft to the sprocket, its winter up here in NY an i cant tell for sure but its on of those 2 spots. if anyone can give advice its highly appreciated.

ya my 2002 had the same problem. has the chain ever fallen off and got bound up right there? if so check right above the sprocket on the left the little round piece stickin out may have a leak. mine was right on that seem on top and would drip down. or check behing the sprocket there is a seal behind that sprocket.

if you are leaking oil from your shifter, remove your shifter and find a socket that fits over the shift shaft and gently tap the seal back in place. i have had this problem, that was the solution for my bike. i certainly will not guarantee that this is your solution.
