Goin to pick up my 08 kickstart in about an hour , CANT WAIT!! Local shop that is sponsering me actually ordered me a spare set of plastics which are white so hopefully it looks pretty sick. I will keep you guys informed about the bike and how i like it compared to my 05. Anyone else wanna throw in some input on the 08 if anyone else has one? Just curious on people opinions on the ride already. Thanks

Love my 07 kicker, but they are jetted horrible from the factory. The carb takes some tuning.

Is it easy to get a 450r with a kickstart or do you have to find a good dealer and wait on a list to get them? Their not even available here :scary:

You can find them, but they are much harder to get. If you want one you have to get it when they come out, seems like they go pretty quick.

i got my kicker pretty easy all i said was i didnt want electric start.I picked it up and only road it up and down the street just to get some fluid through the trans and stuff like that but other than that i love it so far. seems pretty snappy, puttin a sparks exhaust on it so once i do that and then do some other jetting i let you guys know the final outcome. Thanks

Me and a few others are looking for a new kicker to run the Baja but are having a hard time finding one. What is everyones thoughts on running a kicker over a electric start for the Baja 250?

Will a kicker be way better for us?

less weight,, less electrical components,,, less to malfunction if u ask me--- but i guess u have to consider power for lights if yall be riding at night???

Whats the reason u dont like the kickers? They seem to be alot more reliable... Did u have a bad experiance with one?

I cant stand electric......like has been said, alot more chances of breakdown and alot of extra weight. And i little less fuel efficient because the motor has to work harder to charge battery and such. The kickers run great and the lights dont suck too much power from the motor.

i look at it this way. At least with my kicker, I know its going to start. As long as it started before it will start now. With electric, you never know whats going to happen. Sure you can leave it on a tender all the time, but ask your self something. "Is it worth all the extra hassle and worry that it may not start?" In my book, theres no way to go other than with a kicker.

Only way i would get electric is if I have a kicker on it to. Now thats the way to go...lol
