Been looking to get some new tires. Interested in the Kenda Klaw 22x7x10 and the Kenda Knarly XC's 20x11x9. Trying to stay with 6 ply, and that is what size the fronts are in the 6. What I am wondering if I should have any trouble with the fronts being that much taller. I ran the 21x7x10 razr 2's in the past with 20x11x9 rear razr 2. I'm not thinking that it will be a big deal, but just looking for some opinions.

Never ran the 22" Kenda's, but I did switch from 22" Razr2 to 21" Razr2 with 20" XCR on the rear. The only place I really saw a difference was cornering. The 22's just seemed to roll more than the 21's. It also seemed like I was pinching the sidewall's more on the 22's, but that just may be coincidence. I thought the 22's may have had a little better ride from the taller sidewall, but I didn't notice any difference in ride quality.

As far as looks, it did look a little ackward with the difference in tire size, but the XCR's are small any way. I ran 20" HD's for a little while with the 22's, and they didn't look that much different in height. Not sure about the exact height of the Kenda rears.

I prefer the 21's.

I had 22" klaw fronts before I got my 21" Razr2 fronts and they are the same physical size when you put a tape measure to them.

i just got done running a set of 22" klaws and 21" knarlys. I loved them. Kenda is actually releasing a new radial version of both tires and i will be getting those within the month. heres a pic of them.

Oh the tires are backwards so that when i practice, i can get the tires to wear evenly. Heres another pic.

I love these tires. Have pounded the heck out of them here in Ohio and the Rocky trails of Hatfield McCoy with minimal wear.

I run 22" Klaw XC's up front and 20" Klaw XC's in the rear and really like the setup. They work very well in all conditions from rocks to normal dirt to loose sand. I also like the option to be able to flip the rears depending on whether the ground (for instance a motocross track) is soft or hard. I've never done it yet but it's a good idea for when I get back to the track. I would probably get the 21's up front next time though.

Overall, they're very durable, wear very well, and fairly inexpensive.

I think this pic is when they were brand new ...

There fronts seem to run a little small. I ran them my first year in missouri and then switched to razor2 and the razors are taller. My brother just bought there newer six ply 22" front klaws and the knarly HT six ply rear 20". I really like the looks of the tires and I noticed that the new 6 ply front claw have deeper lugs than my older 4 ply claw did. THey looked almost as deep as the razors.

I probably goint to try the HT rears 21 and 22 in klaw fronts for my next set.
