I bought myn from a guy who raced regulerly but he had just redone the whole motorcheck the whole frame, shock mounts and flip it up to look at the frame real close .

DEFINATELY!! dude i wouldnt even hesitate, jump on that before he changes his mind. i had a kfx that was 10 times more set up than yours would be even after you bought the things your thinking of getting and i traded for a mostly stock yfz that had been raced and would do it again any day of the week.

mine needed a little work but no matter what condition its in its still a yfz and a MUCH better building block than your kfx will ever be. i tried to sell mine and i promise, 400's are hard to get rid of these days. DO IT!!

P.S. most race bikes (not all) have been more properly maintained and routinely serviced than any other bikes out there.

check out my thread on the same thing.

I'd trade.

We have a Z400 and a YFZ450. If your an aggressive rider the YFZ is a far nicer bike in all ways.

If your a slower trail rider, or older and just put around the Z is a great quad, but for faster guys the YFZ is sublime.
