It is simple..... Just crack open a beer, relax, and look at your quad. It always works for me! ;)

4 HUH......LOL

I wash mine after every ride. Once every few months, Ill grease the front suspension. That dudes right, you want to keep close tabs on your swing arm needle bearings. Last time I cleaned mine, it took a can of WD-40 to loosen em up. They get so bad so quick, dont be surprised to find an old car tire jammed in there after every ride!

Okay, so how do I grease these things? I dont beleive they have grease nipples...? Should I just use grease from a grease gun? What kinda grease do I put on my chain? same kind? What is "swing arm needle bearings" thanks for all the help so far! I try to wash mine after every ride or 2.

wash it, and plan tomarrows ride. yea, i think you just use grease from a grease gun. for the arms, just take out the bolts and put grease in the hole. same for the back. the axle bearings are a little more in-depth, but only do those once a year.

all i do is get the hose and spray off all the mud thats packed in everywhere and wash it down. i don't have to lube a chain seeing that mine is shaft drive.

loose bolts are bad!? JK My 12mm socket's teeth are going to be gone soon! I am going to have to get a new one! I hate checking bolts, everytime I forget to, I find one missing the next day! Not on the 400ex, just the 4x4!

After it dries, wd-40 helps to prevent rust and corrosion. i spray it all over everything except the brake discs
