Stock gusseted 400EX frame? After market 250R geometry frame?
As far as ease of installation, the after market would win out, because you can have them custom build motor mounts for the CRF450 while you're having them build the chassis.
COST wise, the 400EX frame would be much nicer. Seen many 400EX/450 hybrids...so it couldn't be THAT hard to do.
