will it ever happen on a dirt bike? remember, 5 years ago if someone told you TP was going to do a double backflip, you would have thought they were crazy.

Can people do them on BMX bikes? If someone can do them on a bicycle then chances are several years down the road you could see it on a dirtbike.

ever hear physically impossible?

I beleive this is...the speed you will have to have to make 3 complete rotations would create a large amount of inertia. Not to mention on the landing, the speed of the rotation coming to a complete stop...you would need one hell of a rear shock.

im going to say no.....i just cant see 3 happening on a dirtbike..the speed, ramp, inertia, etc just make it seem impossible. the doubles are insane enough....a pro bmx rider was recently parylized from the double on a bmx bike....i dont see 3 happening on a full size mx bike. its got to end somewhere imo.

and i just found this on the hbombfilms site. Calebs throwing nacnac flips.

Bomb Squad rider Caleb Moore took it to the limits last week as he claimed the first backflip variation! After rotating some Nacflips into the pit, he was ready to take it to dirt at Jimmy Fitzpatrick's place in So, Cal. After claiming it to dirt, he flipped consecutively until it got dark.

I reckon freestyle as a sport is advancing to fast for its own good. Not so much with quads but on bikes its getting nuts, someone well known to the general public who go and see the shows like TP will get seriously injured or die and that will bring the sport back to earth and slow everyone down a bit. :ermm:

lol i was there for his "attempts". i think everyone on this site has rotated more on a frontflip than he did goin into a pit. im not hating on him for his skill level or as a person, but the fact that his article of attempting to claim it got published, lame.
