this works great. Thought you might want to see it.:D :D :D :D (PS out side tire is smaller than mudlights so they do not touch the ground untill in the snow. no extra stess on axle):)

neat. that's gotta really affect handling though. i'd imagine powersliding is pretty difficult. but just to keep you from sinking i bet it helps.

How did you mount them up?

I used long carage bolts. I put them threw the space between the hub and the rim then cut to the right length a 6 inch ABS pipe in between the to rims(so the rims do not touch but the tires do helps drive the outside wheel.then ous the oringinal bolt holes on the outside rim and tighten it down tight.... I have been riding twice know hard and no troubles....

maybe skies on the front are next.....

Haha.. I love your thinking!

I'm gonna try some paddle tires this winter and see how that works out.. Maybe I should double up a set of paddle tires :eek2: :D

i've run paddle tires successfully and not gotten stuck but only a couple of times. but i dont ride in powedery, unpacked snow either. i ride the snowmobile trails. most of them around here allow wheelers on them.

If you're looking for snow tires, the best you can get outside of a track kit are Ohstu Pro wedges (name is right, maker maybe a little iffy?)

they're perfect for snow, reversible so you can float on top of softer stuff, or turn them around when the snow has a nice frozen layer on top to really get you traction.

We ride on a mountain up here during the winter, and we shoot up a 'bowl' and try and highpoint when the snow isnt good enough to let us get all the way up. And the high pointer *always* has pro wedges, never fails.

Odd setup for sure, but creative!

Ever tried maxxis 4-snows?

those maxxis snows do work good. I had them on my golf cart (440 snowmobile engine in it) traction was hard to find.:D

out for another ride after the snow last week, still holding up great, very stable power sliding, and doing donuts:D :D

Be careful going in between the trees.

Snap some pics of how you actually mounted it , like take off the outside tires and snap a few pics of the hubs , i loved to see it. Other than that awsome toy..
