My new truck

Well I made a thread about a truck I was looking at and I ended up getting it.

Its an 86 F150 XL reg cab short bed with a 302 v8 4x2 and c4 auto tranny.
Motor and tranny were rebuilt and only have 15k miles on them. Brand new tires,water pump,and carpet. Runs great and sounds amazing (true duels no cats into 2 glasspacks. Only thing wrong with it is the tailgate is crap, speedometer is off 5MPH and gas gauge doesn't work .

Best part about the truck is it was only $1000 :D

We now have 3 generations of F150s in our driveway :)

What lowering kit is on it? looks like a 4/3 or something. drop the rear end some more and it'll look good, maybe a set of rims.

you should get it lifted if anything, nice truck especially for 1000, looks real clean.

is it a 4x4?? i'd love to have a truck like that to haul my quad and other **** around.... and if was you i'd save up and get sum big tires.. to me it would make that truck look pimp

tires on it now are brand new and its not 4x4 so I dont really want big tires

O yea I spent all day cleaning it. Looks much better then It did when I got it.

interior had alot of wires hanging down so I fixed all that and it made a huge difference.

I think thats a really cool looking truck you got there, good deal on it too. I think a mild lowering on it would look really good. Who cares what the goons think. It's your truck, you have to drive it, so you do what you want with it. I like lowered and lifted trucks. That truck would look really good with a small lowering kit on it, plus make it a lot easier loading your quad in the back too. Nice truck bud.:cool:

I think It would look good leveled. But it doesn't have blocks in the rear so I guess I would have to find a shackle drop or something for it.
