***** 2002 Honda 400ex Must see*****

Here is a nice honda 400 ex all stock, beside the sproket is changed and the carbs were professional jetted.

Looking to get 2900 out of it, it is not over priced dealer quote me for 3000.

Wouldn't mind selling it quick!

Im located in Michigan 20 miles from Ohio.

i bought my 2004 for 2000
you can look them up on sites like kellys blue book (dont know if they do atvs)
they only retail for about 2500
but its also hard to come across a 400ex in that good of condition
for once some one respects their machine

I think it's ignorant as hell to post that someones asking to much for there quad (exspecialy when the price isn't all that high). I could see if he wanted 4k but even at that point whats the point in posting a negative. If your interested in buying this quad make an offer to what YOU think its worth. Just because someone else sold theres for cheaper does'nt mean that everyone now has to sell it for that price. And just because you could get a newer year for around the same price does'nt really mean much considering condition. I'll take a mint 2000 over a beat 2004 all day long.

I seen a 2005 450r go for $2500 before because dude needed the money bad.. You should alert all 450r owners that thats now the value of there quads.

Just some food for thought.

The quads worth what He's asking. If you guys disagree with the price make an offer. If your not interested in buying dudes quad why post?

i know what the quad books for, and jsut like beobee said, would you rather have a 2002 for 3k, or a beat 2004 for 2500, you get what you pay fopr, if you want junk then go buy it, but if you want a nice a bike, then come get yours, the area also has a lott to do with it, quads vary so much with location it isnt funny, but dont worry about it, the bike will sell......

Crazystang - If you had good intentions with your post Im sorry I jumped on you about it. Sorry if I seemed rude. I see it all to often in the for sale section with peoples sales getting ruined by non-buyers opinions.

Helping him would of been like "hey try posting it here, I know a guy looking for one, get more pics it will help the sale, or if you lower the price I can get you a buyer" announcing to everyone you think his price is to high actualy could hurt his sale. It could make someone who thinks the price is a fair start to think now its not (when it is). Which will now send that potential buyer on a wild goose chase trying to find one as mint as this for cheaper (which they prob. wont).

If he lowered the price yeah of COURSE it will sell faster. But that would go for anyone, selling anything. You personaly just thought the price was too high and annouced it which I sure affended dcbur.

Sorry I called you ignorant. Ignorant just means not knowing any better, OR better yet not realizing what they said/did offended or caused a negative affect. (I should of thought out the way I first responded. I can see how I may of been ignorant)

Good point with the location. It does matter alot it seems. Dcbur maybe look into finding a shipping company, get a quote for the furthest distance, and let the buyer know you'll take care of eveything phone call wise, setting up pick up, and delivery. maybe split costs.

I had a 350x for sale.. 3 times on ebay.. didnt sell. I refused to ship it (i thought it was a pain) I finally looked into shipping, found a company, and posted up in my next ebay attempt that I got a shipping Co. and will split costs 50-50 with it being no more then 400 to ship to the furthests distance. It sold real easyly!!

you just have to find one that will pick it up from your home (if the company says they wont try talking to the driver himself and tip him well) or deliver it to the shipping company yourself.
