Motocross tattoos...

Well for my 18th birthday I really want a motocross tattoo or something along those lines. I was thinking of like having a picture of a few bikes lined up at a starting gate and some writing above the tat. I had a sweet picture of that I wanted but I can't find it now.:grr: I also found this one picture that I want to get. I can't decided.:ermm: Heres the one tattoo I was thinking about. Anyone thats skilled with photoshop want to draw something up for me?:p :) I was looking for a line of bikes up at a starting gate but only showing in the picture just the front tires, rims, forks front fenders, and number plates at the left top. What do you guys think? Please no bashing or the don't get a tattoo talk. Thanks! Also if I was to get the tattoo I attached to this post I'd get it on my forearm underneath we're like its always white, I don't know how to explain it.:p

Something like this for my other idea but so you can see the starting gate and it looks more "intense" as if the 30 second babe ran off the track.:p

Just make sure you can cover it up if you have to for work related purposes, even if its not until later in life when you'd have to hide it. I waited until i knew for sure i was taking over my Fathers company before i got all the crazy stuff i got, which includes a montage of casino activities on my left tricep, and, no joke, a ufo with a blower coming out of the hood on my left bicep. I don't know how corporate America would have felt about that one...

First time I have seem the piston coming out of the leg, it's different thats for sure. I have an OCC shirt with a design I kind of like.

I know, I saw that in your profile. But when I was 18 I was just starting college, and thought I was going to be an architecht. You never know what opportunities or decisions may arise. Anyway, i think you've got a pretty bada*s idea for some ink and should go through with it. Just make sure you got the exact design you want, not even 40 grit will fix a mistake :devil:

Its hard to choose though, I'm liking the starting gate idea but I can't find a damn picture anywhere.

Yeah thats the other thing, making sure you got the right person doing it. The guy who did the stuff on my back tattooed the drummer from slipknot, but he moved down to florida and started his own thing I think.

I have many tats and the first thing you should consider is will it fit you for life?(the design or meaning behind the tat) to pick something at random or a logo as above is'nt putting any thought into it! just my 2 cents!

the starting lineup of bikes is a cool idea, i think that would look sick if done right.

fox racing on the other hand is ehhhhh. i mean ill rock a fox head on my trucks back window but on MY back;no thanks.

Yea, I won't live to long after I get my tattoo.

It does have a meanie, I didn't pick it just for the hell of it. I love wenching on quads and bikes and I've been around the damn things my whole life. I think if I go with the tattoo with the piston I'm going to get it to look like a bike piston though and maybe something written on the piston head.

Every time I see someone with a fox tat i want to start punching babies...Why would you tat a companies logo on your body, to me that makes no sense, unless you personally owned fox and was the one making millions off of it. If you are going to ink your skin with some completely meaningless design, dont place advertisements for a company that doesnt even give you any monetary compensation for it...:rolleyes:

that's just your guys's opinions, maybe it has a meaning to me. Plenty of people who snowboard get the burton symbol. If you don't like it, don't get it. I think Fox represents what i'm good at, which is riding. There's a point behind the tattoo.

Probably wondering what that bump is on more forearm. In about 2000 i came up short on a step up and cracked my forearm in half. Its plated up . Been holding up great,not the prettiest surgery but im sure not complaning . Got a little zipper to go with the staple scars :p
