direct replacement performance carb

I have read countless pages on the 450r carb and it seems like a great upgrade but i have a problem with the fit and finish of it. i know it will work but i wont grind rubber boots or modify the airbox to make it work. Is there a direct fit carb out there that will boost performance. I hear fcr being tossed around but few cough up the money for it. Im not too worried about cost i just want something that will perform and fit.

sparks 39mm or 41mm fcr. Like you said, they are pricey, but they deff. make a difference. Mine went right on, no problem.

Are the sparks fcr carbs the same as the stock 39mm yfz and the 05+ 450r 40mm.

Not too sure. Im sure it is basically the same carb, but the sparks fcr ends are made especially to fit the 400.

Nope, aftermarket FCRs have adapters that make it a direct fit. The FCR is a good carb, I had one. There are finicky to tune.
