I might be trading for one of these, need to know what to check for it's an 2006 I've always had trx's so ant help is appreciated
Also what the shift pin relocator I've seen where alot of these for sale have that mod thanks

The LTRs have a weak spot in their cases and if the shifter is hammered a lot or accidently landed on, the shift pin breaks out of the case and you can't shift. You can install the bracket to keep that from happening and if you happen to break the pin out of the case you can install the bracket from Walsh Race Craft or BCS Performance becuz you won't need the original hole with them brackets.....Overall the LTR is pretty solid. I had an 06 till last month and it NEVER let me down except when I ran out of gas!

ya i agree. i would also check to see when it was manufactured. theres a special date which i dont know about but the factory missed a weld in the swingarm/linkage bracket but if it was made in the later months of 2006 than your alright
