I just bought a new one for my 250r. The old aluminum hub got really tore up when my sprocket side bearing let go. Check out the seller acjracing on e bay. Ive dealt with him a few times and he's great. Knows his 250r's. My new hub is the steel one which seems to be way more durable than the old aluminum one.

Yeah it was stolen on 1/31/07....pretty much the worst day of my life. When I get some time I will make a separate post all about my '89.

I couldn't stand not having another R after getting a taste of the '89, so this summer I bought an '86 250r. I'll update my sig.

Any luck with that sprocket hub? It was a pain to install the new one but I haven't had any problems with it yet.

it was a real ***** getting the snap ring off!!!!!!! i used the pipe spring hook tool...it worked pretty good!once the ring was off it slid off just like a brake hub would. im reselling it anyways...so i kinda wanted a used one so i didnt have alot into it. i hear they are prone to trouble...the steel one is the way to go as they are so thin by the bolts. i think i will just sell it as-is without. pretty beefy axle though. thanks again:D
