Ive never attempted to rebuild a stabalizer. What all is involved in rebuilding a gibson, or any stick style for that matter. Can it be done in the home garage, or do you need special tools?

The kits i see are relatively cheap, just wanted to know what kind of tools/labor is needed.

i think all you need is a alen wrench and a par of snap ring pliers with the little pins if you know what i mean

oh and unless the kit comes with it you will need shock oil

My Denton rebuildable was very easy to do. I'm sure yours is dang near the same. No pressurized nitrogen or anything like that.
