More people looking for a quiet exhaust should look at this.

Its called the afterburner quiet by DMC

"The DMC Quiet system is the perfect choice for the track or the trail. Designed to improve the spread of horsepower, torque and acceleration while keeping sound down to strict USFS sound requirements. Features include a completely re-packable extruded alloy silencer with premium packing material, T-304 Stainless steel mid-pipe, AMA/FIM approved end-cap, removable U.S. Forestry approved spark arrestor and DMC S.O.S. (Save Our Sport) quiet insert. The Pro Quiet pipes maximize performance as a full system, but can also be purchased individually as a slip-on muffler or head-pipe. Purpose built to conform to all off road noise regulated applications, our test results show an output less than 96 decibels."

Less then 96db* Easy repack, no rivets to drill
Stainless steel AMA/FIM endcap Aircraft grade billet muffler bracket
USDA spark arrestor included Tough T304 stainless head & mid pipe
Extended length for noise suppression Lightweight extruded muffler
Includes SOS (baffle assembly) Low center of gravity muffler position

I figured its something other than an fmf q pipe and im a big believer in DMC since i found out how great the alien was.

Seems nice and its exactly what im looking for but that price is killer. Any cheaper alternatives that keep the sound down? Cuz my White Bros R4 slip on definetly wakes the neighbors.

if you look for the pipe at different places other than DMC themsleves, you may find em cheaper.

I should get paid for advertising for them:grr: lol.

I have the new white brothers XCR pipe on my 450r. sounds great and has a remobable spark arrestor that is very easy to change out. one of the quietest pipes ive hear and i got it for a very good price ontop of that. just a suggestion.

if you dont mind a really long pipe (hits the ground before the grab bar when going to far back on wheelies) then def. consider the FMF Q2 or i think the Q4 is shorter.

Lot of people DO like HMF. But I'd be down for the DMC if it had decent power gains and sounded good, but quiet!

ever think about Lexx? They are quiet and are supposed to have pretty decent gains.

I've heard about the LEXX and asked about it before... I don't think anyone is running it yet. I'd like to know, but I think I may wait until spring to get a pipe... The stocker should get me by this winter... Just going to be snow roosting...

My White Brothers E-series full system is loud with the end open but you can make it as quiet as stock while still improving power a little. Right now I am running 18 discs, and it's tolerable.

Dealers don't know $#!%. Some true feedback would be: If you want it as quiet as stock and want more power with everything done to the engine.......IT'S TIME TO UPGRADE!!!!!
