I saw a guy do something very similar to that at little sahara. We where jumping a dune, he rides up and watches us for a few minutes. Next thing you know he decides to try it....it was ugly.

The rule at the bottom says specifically "riding without a helmet is very dangerous and is an activity strongly comdemned by ATVriders." This video is a perfect example of why.

normally when people buy quads that they would buy a helmet, even if someone buys a quad new, they normally throw in a new helmet as well. and the video discription says he was drunk as well. now thats just death, no stupid...death is what it should be called!

i had pretty much the exact same thing happen to me. i was jumping this decent sized dune. decent enough for me to do simple stuff like double can cans and such. well after i ride the jump for a while i decide to take a break a few guys came up to me and asked how long i had been riding and how i learned how to do the tricks. well when i started to talk about how i did them some drunk tard on a 250r started talking about how he had been riding for a year and was better than me. i replied "sweet" in a sarcastic manner. he decided to roll up to the jump doing a good amount of speed with no helmet or any sort of protection. well he goes off the jump and endoes like a mofo. the quad lands on top of him his head hits his handle bar clamp puting a big gash into his head about 6 inches long in the temple area and his leg gets pinned between his footpeg and his tire puting a deep gash into his shin. He also ended up with a broken arm and foot. moral of the story dont drink and ride.
