I just got the kit also and called Daryl Rath about a few, because they weren't on the instructions. Not sure what ones you can't figure out, but here's where the ones not on the instructions go.

The big triangle pieces go up between the two frame posts where the top shock mount bolt goes.

The pieces that are rectangular bent to form around the frame with slots cut out(not solid piece) go on the top frame rail behind the top motor mount. Where the 450r frame is notorious for cracking. Then the piece similar to that but that doesn't have slots cut out (solid piece) goes underneath and they are welded together.

Hope this helps let me know if you need more info. and I'll try my best.

Well I got my kit welded on this weekend. Actually had my friends cousin do it who is a welder and fabricator by profession. The kit required a decent amount of modification and forming to get the pieces to fit exactly how they should. The pieces that go on the top frame rail (where 450 is known to crack) were the most difficult and time consuming. The guy who welded said next time he would cut the pieces down a bit (leaving a gap between bottom and top piece) so instead of welding just the pieces to each other they could be welded together and to the frame as well. Overall though I would give Rath a thumbs up:) . Quality seemed nice and most gusset kits you are going to have to do some work to get fit properly. I liked how the kit wasn't overkill but still covered proper areas and at a great price. I'll post pictures when back from pc even though it will be harder to see. The welds are amazing!:D

I finally got my frame back, unfortunately, I couldn't get any pics of the gusset kit before it was powder coated, because it went straight to the powder coaters after being welded. My buddy's cousin (professional welder) welded it an the welds are amazing. Here are some pics though to give people an idea of what the kit includes.

Top frame rail (problematic spot on honda 450) has two pieces that go around the frame rail.
