View Full Version : replacing anti freeze?

now that winters coming i want to swap out my anti freeze for some fresh stuff. i ordered engine ice and looked on the radiator and there seems to be no drain bolt. How do i get the old anti freeze out? i was thinkng just disconect the hose idk

i heard that you have to get all the regular anti-freeze out to work properly. (the engine ice)

Yeah, I heard the same thing, too. A dealer also told me that once I use it that I can't go back to regular coolant; I don't know whether that is true or not, though...? So, I just stuck with using Suzuki's coolant.

Your dealer is full of chit. As long as you flush the old coolant out your are fine.

I was thinking the same thing. That's just one more of the many reasons we don't do business with that dealer anymore. I have the other coolant here, but I have never used it because of what they have told me.

The coolant will come shooting out of that drain plug when you have the radiator cap off.
