yfz lights

my dad bought a 05 yfz about a 2 weeks ago and he just bought some new light bulbs because the other ones were blown and the other day we went for a ride and it was starting to get dark so he turned his lights on they worked for about 2 min and they went out so when we got home we checked them and both of the new light bulbs were blown what would be the problem any ideas will help thanks.

my friend has the same problem, his yfz has 75 watts at the bulbs, adn he doesnt know whats wrong either, let me know if you find out what the problem is.

Mine was doin the same thing,but mine was also overcharging too.the voltage regulater was overcharging,so i installed a 04cbr600 street bike battery in mine,had too cut into my tool box.rick stator has a fix for it for 160.00 plus shipping.hope this helps.
