Alpinestars!! Tech 3's cost 160 bucks so they aren't too expensive but are very protective and comfortable. Sizing I wear an 11 shoe and work boot but to make these worth while I bought a 12 and they have a lot of room but don't move around because they are tall, after you break them in a little you can move you ankle to hit your shifter. For 160 dollars they are extremely durable and aren't too expensive. I got the black with the red fillers:D  http://www.motoactionimola.it/img/Img-4-620.jpg

whatever you decide dont ever get thor's. I now know why they were on clearance sale for $99. The first ride one of the buckels broke and the bottoms were all eatin up by my pegs. My riding buddies swear by alpinestars

Ya Thor's kinda suck IMO. Alpinestars has a wide variety of boots. Expensive for racers who need excellent quality boots to the lesser expensive for regular weekend beaters!:p Really comfy and even the "cheaper" ones still have great quality. I can only imagine how nice the Tech-10's are LOL:cool:

All of the Alpinestar boots are great so buy what you can afford, I would stay away from the cheaper boots as buckles and bottoms really come in to play, I have tech 8's and have yet had to replace my pad on the sole.

I always had a ratty pair of old alpinestars that I bought for $20 used off of a buddy, and thought they were the greatest. Well I never really could afford a nice set of boots, and didn't want to buy another pair of crap boots. motosportoutlet had a great sale recently and may still be having it though Im sure supplies are limited now. I picked up a set of Berik boots (the ones ricky charmicheal wears) They retail for $325 and I got them for $129. Yep almost $200 off original price! These boots ROCK! They are so much more supportive than my old alpinestars its not even funny. They physically weigh probably more than twice as much but I feel much safer with these. They took about 2-3 races for them to break in nicely but now they're even better. I love them and for that price you cant go wrong.
