Hello all. 1st timer. Just wondering if anyone has seen this kit from Diamond J Customs(or something like that)that's bolted on and let's you use the 300ex a arms and shocks. I just bought my son a TRX 90, so I'm not real familiar with all the common mods. It seems like a decent kit and I don't like the single a arms and would like more travel than the 3 or 4 inches the stock shocks give. Also, their website says it's ok to use the 300ex wheels on front and back. It seems like they would be too tall for the 90. Maybe a lower profile tire. Tell me your thoughts. Thanx and happy to be a new member.

I just bought my son a new 08’ trx90 for racing. And shipped the frame to Dave Carter at DC Motorsports he’s going to build me a set of long travel a-arms and a swing arm. Give Dave a call tell him Mike Kozura told you to call 1-501-472-9668

I have a 2001 TRX 90 that we put a Diamond J Customs widening kit on. It widened the front stock single a arms out 3 inches on each side . We bought a pair of used 300 ex stock shocks for $50.00 . The kit was bought off Ebay for about $160.00. We also had to purchase a +3 axle for the rear, we chose durablue for that. It cost about $425.00. Then we purchased Inch and 1/2 wheel spacers for the rear wheels.
The bike was raced at local events and was much more stable,
however the shocks were almost as stiff as the stock ones.

I am on a budget. I've seen this kids on quads website but it doesn't show too much. Anyone know anything about this? How are the prices? Or any other suggestions?

My son has the Bracket set up using the 300EX a-arms and shocks and it works fine. I don't know how it would handle motocross but for trail riding it works great. He's not afraid to jump it either. I've seen him try jumps that I new I couldn't make on my R and the brackets held up thru that.

I replaced the stock rear with an Elka and he was super happy with that.

It's for sale $3000.

I just finished installing the Diamond-J kit on my son's '06 TRX90. We've taken it out for a couple of shake-down trail rides and it's a totally different quad! MUCH more stable and the extra ground clearance and track width is very nice.

I used 300ex suspension components and 400ex tires/rims (eBay). If you have any specific questions just yell. Here's a couple BEFORE->AFTER pics.

If you want a kit that is going to last and be really well built go with DC's kit, especially if you are going to be racing.
