Center Console in 99' Silverado

Heres a 3D model I through together tonight, what do you guys think? The green represents open storage areas. Blue is were an lcd touch screen with go that I will link to my laptop that will be in the larger green area. The yellow box is an inverter to power the laptop charger, and other misc. stuff.

go over to fullsizechevy.com and check out some of the center consoles that have been made on there....looks like you have a good design, but dont use a laptop...build a mini computer and use a special harddrive made to be used in a vehicle...it will be a lot easier than taking your laptop in and out of there all the time.

I have it up on FSC. I plan on eventually getting a "carputer" and installed it but until I can dig up the extra cash I plan on using the laptop.

i hope to build a carputer at some point too...i built a stand for my laptop to go in the center then i run everything through my stereo...its nice having a 15" wide screen to watch movies on while going down the road :D
